Dan Drezner Interview: Why the System Works

Dan Drezner discusses thoughts from his recent book The System Worked: How the World Stopped Another Great Depression and comments on geopolitics, the rise of the informals, and US leadership in the global order in this latest global summitry interview.

Dan Drezner is professor of international politics at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington, and contributing editor at the Washington Post after a number of years at the FP. Prior to teaching at Tufts, Dan taught at the University of Chicago and the University of Colorado at Boulder. He also spent time at the RAND Corporation and also at the US Department of the Treasury.
